At By Barny, we truly hope you love your piece as much as we loved creating or selecting it for you. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.


Change of Mind Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn and in original condition

  • All original packaging and tags must be included

  • Items must not be damaged or altered

Once your return has been received and approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 4 business days. Please allow a few additional days for your bank to finalise the transaction.

Please note original shipping costs are non-refundable and return postage is the responsibility of the customer.


Jewellery Returns

Most jewellery pieces may be returned for a full refund within 30 days, provided they meet the conditions above.

A couple of exceptions apply:

  • Custom-made charm necklaces and charm bracelets are crafted especially for you. Because of the time and care involved in creating these pieces, they are eligible for exchange or store credit only.

  • Earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.

Clothing Returns

Full-priced clothing items may be returned within 30 days for a refund, provided they meet our return conditions.

Sale clothing items are considered final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.


Sale Items

Items purchased on sale are final sale and are not eligible for refund or exchange for change of mind.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


12 Month Jewellery Warranty

All jewellery pieces come with a 12-month manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers genuine manufacturing faults. It does not cover:

  • General wear and tear

  • Tarnishing due to exposure or improper care

  • Accidental damage or misuse

If you believe your piece has a fault, please email us at hello@bybarny.com with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs. We will carefully assess the piece and arrange a repair, replacement or refund where appropriate.


Faulty Items & Your Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy. If a fault is confirmed, we will cover return shipping costs and work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We recommend using registered post so your parcel can be tracked, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Once your return arrives, we’ll be in touch and process your refund within 4 business days.
